Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Observagent (“Observagent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit this website or join our waitlist. Observagent is based in Canada and handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the consent associated with your submission. If you contact us, we collect the information contained in your message and any information you choose to provide.
Technical and security information. Our hosting environment and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, referring page, and security or anti-abuse signals. Google reCAPTCHA processes information necessary to distinguish legitimate users from automated activity.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- manage the Observagent waitlist and send requested launch, product, and availability updates;
- respond to questions and support requests;
- protect the website and signup form from spam, fraud, and abuse;
- maintain records of consent and honour unsubscribe requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not currently use advertising cookies or website analytics.
3. Consent and communications
When you join the waitlist, you expressly consent to receive Observagent launch updates and related communications. You may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting support@observagent.cloud. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. We may retain limited suppression and consent records as necessary to honour your choice and demonstrate compliance.
4. Service providers and cross-border processing
We use service providers that process information on our behalf:
- Brevo receives and stores waitlist submissions and helps us manage email communications.
- Google reCAPTCHA processes technical and behavioural signals to protect the form from spam and abuse. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms apply.
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical logs required to deliver and secure the website.
These providers may process information outside your province or outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed. We require providers to handle information only for authorized purposes and with appropriate safeguards.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Google reCAPTCHA may set the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie and use similar technologies for security and risk analysis. These technologies are used to provide the requested waitlist form securely, not by Observagent for behavioural advertising.
6. Retention
We retain waitlist information for as long as needed to provide requested updates, prepare for product availability, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain consent or unsubscribe records. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
7. Safeguards
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Access, correction, and privacy choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent, or raise a concern about our practices. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Contact our privacy lead at support@observagent.cloud. If we cannot resolve a concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy regulator.
9. Children
The waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide appropriate notice and seek consent where required.
